We recognize that it is our responsibility, as good corporate citizens, to give back and enrich our local communities. At Telophase we encourage all employees to lend their voluntary support to organizations and causes that positively impact the quality of life of those within our community.
During December we come together as a team for our annual outreach event at the Community for Creative Non-Violence (CCNV) in Washington D.C. Our employees volunteer their time by serving hot food and donated clothes to over 600 individuals in need.
As people driven to give back, many of our employees also volunteer at local hospitals, soup kitchens, and other charitable organizations. While they do this from the good of their hearts, we take time at the end of the year to recognize and award Telophase employees for their community service.
From the infancy of the company, service has always been a guiding principle. Telophase has been involved in a number of ventures and organizations that impact water security, homelessness, and healthcare for the underserved. These relationships and affiliations include the Grameen Bank (2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner), Animal Welfare Institute, Children International, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the CCNV.
